When planning this workshop, I envisioned beautiful bridal portraits in the desert. That vision came to life oh so perfectly at one of my favorite spots in Palm Desert, California called Ironwood Park. It’s a neighborhood park just 2 minutes away from the house where we were staying for the Dream Chasers Workshop this year. I mean, talk about convenient!

I can’t help but smile oh so big over this picture and being together with all these amazing women who traveled near and far for the event! It was truly special and I’m overwhelmed by the connections we made and strengthened over the few days we were together.
It’s always my goal to create shoots that allow each photographer the opportunity to capture the shots they want and for everyone to work together cohesively and respectfully. I’ve literally been to a workshop where photographers were basically on top of each other and being super competitive to “get the shot”. It turned me off from them big time but I made a promise to myself and my future attendees to the Dream Chasers Workshop that I’d create a better experience. Is it always 100% perfect? No, I don’t believe anything is ever perfect but with that being said, these ladies were what I would call perfect! Everyone respected each other, took turns, shared, collaborated, and worked together as a team. It was one of the coolest things I’ve witnessed ever as a workshop leader and my heart was exploding the entire time. We rotated through a styling bar and two bridal shoots with my friend Ashley and Erica! They were both stunning and you’ll be able to see more below! I want to first share a few fun behind the scenes from our time out in the desert that I snapped on my iPhone and that some attendees captured on their cameras, too!
A huge shout out to everyone involved who made this shoot possible and an even bigger thank you to the Dream Chasers this year for making this evening together in the desert an experience I’ll never forget. I love taking pictures but found myself mostly watching and soaking up the evening with these amazing women.
