Dream Chasers Workshop Headshots in the Desert
There’s something so magical about the desert light! Putting a focus on the Dream Chasers Workshop headshot session was a must!
As some of you may know, I don’t only do photography here at Emma Rose Company. I’m also a Squarespace Website Designer passionate about helping creative entrepreneurs stand out online through branding and thoughtful design. I’ve found a passion not only building websites, but helping my clients elevate their brands with strong and intentional photography through personal branding sessions. I like to approach headshots in the most natural way possible, showcasing the person in the best light, doing what they do best. Sometimes this is in their home, office, studio or other location that best portrays the message they’re trying to put out there to their audience.
So something I always bring to the Dream Chasers Workshop is focusing a good chunk of one day on headshots!
I want every single person who comes to my workshop to leave with images of themselves. At the end of the day, the people you serve and work with want to see YOU. Your people want to know more about you and see your beautiful face as well as your beautiful work! So each year, I prep my attendees on prepping for this piece of the workshop and it always proves to be an absolute blast.
This year at the Dream Chasers Workshop, we went to one of my favorite spots in Palm Desert which is Ironwood Park!
I’m all about convenience at a big event and this park is that and much more. Just 2 minutes from the house where we stayed, it was the perfect location. I especially love this spot because even if you go there at high noon, there are trees to help filter out some of that harsh sun.
A huge thank you to my friend and second shooter for the workshop, Danielle, for helping! We rotated through everyone to ensure a few different looks for everyone to go home with! The results exceeded my expectations and I’ll forever cherish not only these photos, but the memories that were made while we were there together!
