Gracie + Kenny | Engaged

I've known Gracie and Kenny for about two years now! Gracie contacted me when I first moved to our town for some pictures of her and Kenny! At that time they were dating and not yet engaged. I secretly said to myself, "Ahhh, I hope when they get married I'm photographing weddings by then and that they hire me!" Well, fast forward two years and here we are! Gracie and Kenny have hired me as their wedding photographer for their 2018 summer wedding and I could not be more honored or excited! I just adore these two, the way they light up around each other and the love you feel when you're in their presence.

Gracie envisioned a fall session for their engagement pictures!

As you know if you live here, it's hard to schedule certain "colors" and vibes around here with the rain. Fall is here and then it's quickly gone when the rain hits. Our session wasn't scheduled until mid November after the busy of football season ends (Kenny is a coach for the high school team!) and I'm home from a trip I'm taking to California! I took Riley out for pictures (check out the blog post here!) the day before and found the most PERFECT fall spot, the sun was shining and it was just too beautiful. I quickly texted Gracie when I got home to see if they had ANY flexibility to make a session happen the following day because it was supposed to be nice, again. Gracie said she'd talk to Kenny and get back to me. Well, they were able but it would have to be early morning! I said, "YES!" So we scheduled a sunrise session for the following morning and it did NOT disappoint. Cold? Yes. Fun? Oh yes!

I was doing happy dances behind my camera in the frosty fields because it was just too beautiful and they are just the cutest couple!
