As a photographer, the journey is ever-evolving! What started for me as solely photographing families and seniors soon transitioned to weddings and a focus on couples. I am still very much a portrait photographer for families and seniors and children but the most recent shift and focus has been exploring the world of commercial + branding photography. (I’m still a wedding photographer, too!)

Perhaps you’ve already got a headshot (one that most likely needs updating), but does it also include personality or lifestyle portraits to display who you are and help tell your brands story? Chances are β€” no. I use my experience in brand marketing alongside my photography to plan and execute sessions 100% tailored to my clients, and Tricia was no exception.

It’s a funny story how we were connected but you could definitely call it β€œfate”! She came in contact with one of my couples on their honeymoon in Hawaii this past winter and I happened to deliver all their wedding images while they were there AND they happened to be with Tricia, too! She loved my work and got my contact details to get in touch with me after her trip to Hawaii.

Tricia was in need of updated headshots, and she knew she wanted me to be the one to take them!

We chatted on the phone and immediately, she felt like an old friend. I envisioned immediately a session in which it felt like you were sitting right next to her in her cozy Pacific Northwest office located in Olympia, Washington.

With over a decade of experience in both corporate and clinical environments, Tricia's real-life experience, combined with her formal training, give her a seasoned insight into her clients' real-life struggles. In her practice, Tricia sees clients varying in age from teenagers to middle-aged adults, representing diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds. She focuses on creating a safe, nurturing environment for her clients with a personalized method. Her goal-oriented approach to tackling challenges encourages collaboration as a vital part of the process that leads to self-actualization. Tricia seeks to inspire her clients to step into their own unique power and creativity, and to support their motivation to change in a positive, lasting way. She recognizes the yearn for those β€œaha” moments when something suddenly becomes clear: a relationship that is ready to be embraced or one that is ready to end, a new direction to pursue or an old pattern to let go of. Tricia views therapy as a way of guiding her clients towards those moments of clarity and authenticity while also, just as importantly, providing the groundwork for the ongoing, day-to-day, process of developing personal satisfaction and growth.

I have seen my clients break through the barriers to happiness and begin living the life they want. I am grateful to be a part of this process, for me personally, it is ongoing.
