Welcome to My World Podcast with Kim Crawford Personal Branding Portrait Session
I’m finally getting around to blogging one of my favorite personal branding photo shoots ever! A few months ago I received a message from a local gal in our town looking to pick my brain about personal branding, photography, and how I might be able to help with her newest adventure in starting a podcast. I get all fired up in conversations like this to discuss why imagery is so important and standing out online! We had a wonderful coffee date and that evening, she booked her first ever headshot session with me. Fast forward a few weeks to a beautiful downtown studio in Tacoma, Washington where we met for her session. You’ll see through the images just how fun and bubbly Kim is and I could just feel her excitement and passion for pursuing her dreams.
My time with Kim was an absolute ball and I’m so proud of her for deciding she wanted to do something and then DOING IT. So many of us wait for that perfect moment to start a new project and it ends up never happening. It’s just how it goes sometimes but the truth is there is never a perfect time to do something. When I got it in my head that I wanted to pursue photography and web design, I dove right in and learned everything I possibly could along the way. Did I know anything about it when I first started? Heck no! Did I make mistakes along the way and still do sometimes? Yes, you better believe it. But something Kim and I have in common is that drive and heart to just do it.
I’m so excited for Kim and her new podcast, Welcome To My World!
I’ve already listened to all her episodes that are available to listen to and trust me, you’re going to love it! She even gives me an awesome shoutout on episode “Picture Not So Perfect”. Which by the way, the pictures did turn out perfectly! She recorded this before seeing the final images and I just love that. <3
