Morgan + Justin | Engaged
the most perfect pnw engagement session amongst the wildflowers on Horselake Trail
I spent Cinco De Mayo with these two in Wenatchee and oh my goodness - it was incredible. We ventured to the top of Horselake Trail to catch the hills in all their glory. If you’ve never ventured up Horselake, I highly recommend make that a priority! It overlooks the entire Wenatchee Valley and the colors in the spring are to die for. Morgan and Justin live in Ritzville, Washington and were total troopers to venture to the valley for their magical engagement session. The weather was perfect. We explored some of the side trails for portraits as I waited for the sun to get exactly where I wanted it to be to wrap up the session.
Morgan and Justin are tying the knot this summer in July in South Bend, Washington and I’m counting down the days.
They originally met in college their freshman year. They were at a social gathering and at the end of the card night, went back to his dorm room where they shared their first kiss. After that night, they did not see each other again in college.
Four years later, Morgan accepted a job in Ritzville, WA. Little did she know, that young man from freshman year poker night would be working in the accounting firm below her apartment. At first, she did not recognize him. She just thought he was, "the hot accountant downstairs that drove a Tundra pickup". A few weeks after she moved in, she went to a night golf tournament in Odessa with one of her girlfriends. Towards the end of the night when the boys were done golfing, her friend took Morgan over to meet her fiance and his friends.
It was that night she met Justin for the second time in her life.
She recognized him right away, but did not want to tell her new friend that I knew him and had even kissed him before. He was not shy to share with my friend, as well as his, that he knew her and that they had kissed in college. A few weeks later, October 27th, he reached out to Morgan on Facebook asking to hangout. She agreed and they had their first date 4 days later on Halloween. Morgan told me that she knew Justin was something special the moment she met him (again). They continued to date until he proposed this past November!
These two enjoy shed hunting together, golfing, binging on Netflix and eating at Red Robin - yummm! ;)
Getting to know Morgan and Justin has been an absolute joy and I can’t wait to see them tie the knot this summer in South Bend! For now, enjoy their absolutely stunning engagement session!
