I’ve always been a little hard to put into one box.
Photographer. Designer. County Clerk. Wife to cattle rancher. Mom. Chronic rearranger of furniture. Very enthusiastic homebody. And, apparently, someone who can spend an unreasonable amount of time thinking about a pantry.
Emma Rose Company has changed a lot over the years. Then again — so have I!
Emma Rose Company started because I fell in love with making things.
First there were paper flowers made out of coffee filters. Yes, really. Then photography. Weddings. Families. Brands. Websites. Workshops. Blogging. Somewhere along the way, this creative outlet turned into an actual business — and then into a pretty big piece of my identity.
For years, I was constantly creating for other people. I loved it.
I also eventually learned that loving soething doesn’t automatically mean you’re supposed to keep doing it the exact same way forever.
So I changed things. Several times, actually.
