I’ve been thinking back to this summer and how much fun it was for me personally and professionally! One of my favorite parts of any summer is visiting my hometown of Wenatchee, Washington. Anytime I’m home, I try to book a few portrait sessions and this season I had some amazing seniors on the calendar, including miss Lauren!
It was a gorgeous smokey sunset in Leavenworth, Washington for this senior session!
Lauren is a delight and the best part about taking her senior portraits is that when she was little, I babysat her and her siblings! I had not seen her in 15+ years and my goodness she’s grown into a beautiful, smart, and kind young woman! We had so much fun venturing up the Icicle River together and while wildfires are absolutely terrible, they do make for some pretty beautiful filtered light. Lauren’s session was a dream and I’m honored to have documented this special time in her life!
Lauren is an aspiring photographer so we got to talk photography which is always one of my favorite past times… so enjoy these beautiful portraits! I am already looking forward to next summer and getting to know more senior girls!
