Toddler Talks with Riley Rose | An Introduction

Sitting down with the podcast’s cutest guest yet

This podcast is all about shedding light on the highs and lows of running a business and life. I work with fellow creative business owners to find the path to real and sustainable success both personally and professionally. I did not think it would be right to not include my why behind all I do here at Emma Rose Company without an episode with my daughter, Riley! Toddler Talks will definitely be a thing around here so I hope you love it as much as I loved making it with her!

Hey friends, so we are trying something a little bit different today. I am bringing my daughter Riley on the show!

She just turned four and don't be surprised to see little mini episodes with her from time to time!

Today we're kicking off our first interview together to just let you guys into my world a bit and see how funny toddlers can be. I can't wait to record more of these because they're just so entertaining and I think this will also be fun to have on record to show her and have listen to when she's older. So without further ado I would love introduce to you Miss Riley Mae Rose! I can't wait for you all to get to know her little bit better!

I’ll highlight what we discussed and also give my thoughts at the end after I processed it and thought about some things that she said. Transcription is below BUT if you want to experience this for what it is in all its cuteness, definitely hit the play button above!

Thoughts after recording my first episode with yi-yi (riley).

Toddlers are hilarious. First of all, I’m so pumped to be doing these because not only do I want you all to get to know her a bit better but I love that we will have these short clips of her to listen to when she’s older. Seriously, so fun! When I went through the episode, I laughed a lot because my goodness — kids are so silly!

At one point she talked about riding the bus — which never happened. And when telling me about her best friend, she’s never once mentioned Benny, lol. She does talk about her friend Olive a lot.

Anyway, all in all, this was a ton of fun and I look forward to more! If you loved it, comment below with questions you want to hear me ask her in the future! I’d love to hear from you!

Until next time!
